Handmade ceramics

I have always had a love for ceramics and over the years I have bought a range of different pieces, some to use in my styling work, but also to place in my home to look at and enjoy. 

Eventually this fascination led me to take classic to learn how to throw on the wheel and now more than 15 years later, I feel confident enough to start to sell my ceramics.

I tend to throw or build pieces that I can use in the kitchen or in my work and am often inspired to make handmade plates and handmade bowls by first imagining how I would use. Some bowls are just right for a risotto, others make the best vessel for hummus, sushi or soup. You will see some of my pieces are named after the dish I can see it best being used for. 

Because everything I make is handmade no two pieces are the same. For me this is the beauty of handmade ceramics, so if you purchase something from my site, it may not necessarily be a carbon copy of the image on the site.
